General Settings

Navigate to the finance page and hit "Edit Options". Fixed rates are inflation and taxation rates constant over the scenario. DCF discount is for later year cashflows. Points can create custom inflation/tax mappings (linear interpolation between points).

Loans

Multiple loans can be added to a project over it's lifetime.

Similar to Demands, there is a Gantt chart view to help visualise when Loans are being paid back.

Accessed below general financial settings. Create new or edit existing loans and fill in:
- Start year (repayment begins January of that year).
- Loan term.
- Amount (including fees).
- Interest (annual, paid annually over whole term).
- Amortisation option (if principal is paid back over the loan, otherwise only interest).
- Initial Loans are considered as starting on the project start date and can therefore not be considered in the cashflow forecast of the project.
Assets


Calculate depreciation of installations. Create or edit assets. Affected by cost and salvage value (expected sale price at end of useful life). Installation and decommission dates determine useful life. Assets depreciate in a straight line.
